Kathi J. Matthes DDS

Holding the title of both Owner and Dentist, Kathi Matthes has been practicing dentistry for nearly two decades. Honesty and sincerity are always at the forefront for the entire staff and is reflected through the longstanding relationships with patients. In addition, she has created a fun environment that ensures patients and staff enjoy coming into the office.

When Kathi is not working, you'll find her on the family farm in Pleasant Hill, MO with her fantastic husband, Mark, and their two boys, Jesse and Wyatt. She enjoys reading and the Royals.

Mary McClay
Office Manager 

As the longest tenured staff member, Mary has been in her role for 25 years and has a double major in accounting and management. Over the years, she has developed a special bond with the patients. Mary is considered the "jack of all trades." She was actually trained on the job and can assist Dr. Matthes, run the front desk and even perform minor repairs on the equipment.

Mary is also a wife, mom to Ranger the dog and community volunteer. She enjoys boating, traveling, gardening and cooking.

Teresa Fradet
Dental Hygienist 

Teresa has been a hygienist for 18 years and counting. She loves getting to know and caring for each patient individually. It's important to Teresa that each patient feels comfortable while they are at the office. She loves being part of a knowlegable staff that truly cares about all the patients and providing education on oral health.

In her spare time you can find Teresa gardening and finding new ways to cook with what she has grown. She loves fishing and attending sporting events with friends and family. She has two dogs, Charlie and Piper, and her cat Chopper (who often thinks he is a dog himself).


Rebecca Riggins
Dental Hygienist 

Rebecca has been a dental assistant for nine years. In her spare time, you can usually find her with friends and family- there are plenty to choose from having three sisters, six nieces, and two nephews. Rebecca is an animal lover and also enjoys traveling.

Marlene Pederson
Dental Hygienist 

Marlene began her dental career over 35 years ago, graduating from Wichita State, then moving to Florida. After meeting her husband, she settled in the Kansas City area.

Marlene enjoys helping and interacting with people during their dental visit. Patients feel at ease during their appointments with her gentle and compasionate bedsite manor.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, boating, biking, gardening and spending time with her husband and their cats.
